The IBM InfoPrint 1332 printer utilizes laser technology in the production of monochrome printouts. It’s suitable for use in a network of computers or in a work environment with light to heavy productivity requirements. Expanding this machine’s capabilities is easy as there’s sufficient room for expansion. With the high-yield IBM InfoPrint 1332 toner inside it, producing high-quality printouts doesn’t have to mean increased operation cost.

A 300MHz processor can be found inside it, a powerhouse which enables printing of up to 35 monochrome pages per minute. This rate is based on printing letter-sized documents, and will vary depending on the printer’s setup or the page size it’s working on. A 32MB memory comes installed upon purchase. But if more storage space for everyday printing requirements is needed, simply upgrade it to a max of 288MB RAM.

The reason why laser printers are favored is because of their ability to come up with readable texts each time. To meet that reputation, this IBM printer utilizes a resolution as much as 1200 dpi x 1200 dpi. As if it’s not enough, there’s also the Image Enhancement Technology 1200 IQ gracing this machine. With impressive resolution and this enhancement feature, texts come out sharp and grayscale images come out clear.

An input capacity of up to 350 media sheets can be handled by the InfoPrint 1332. That’s because there’s one 250-sheet capacity tray and another 100-sheet capacity tray available. Now there’s no need to waste time in constantly restocking paper. Monthly duty cycle is set by the manufacturer at 175000 impressions. Meeting this volume limit per month ensures that you get optimal printer and toner performance.

Several different sizes of media can be supported. They include executive, legal, letter, statement, folio, A6, A5 and A4. A variety of media types are compatible such as ordinary paper, transparencies, cards, labels, envelopes and others suitable for laser printer use. Regarding envelopes, sizes supported are: com-10, monarch, international B5, international; C5, international DL and US no. 9.

Parallel IEEE 1284 and USB are the connectivity interfaces available. Regardless of the scale, attaching this machine to a network of computers is hassle-free. This is especially true as it has support for different operating systems. With the high-yield toner installed, operation cost can be maintained to a minimum. It’s also possible to print numerous small-scale documents on a single paper sheet, thanks to the multi-up feature. With this, office supplies can be conserved.

IBM PPDS, PostScript 3, IPDS, PCL 6 and PDF are the printer languages available. When it comes to typefaces, those available include 44 PPDS fonts, 158 PostScript 3 fonts and 91 PCL fonts. For two-sided paper printing, an optional duplex may be installed. It’s also possible to combine printing, copying, scanning and faxing tasks into a single machine with the use of the MFP option.

Weighing less than 38 pounds, the IBM InfoPrint 1332 printer has an enclosure measuring 16.6 inches wide, 13.6 inches tall and 19.6 inches thick. It will make heads turn no matter where you put it in the workplace as it has attractive curving lines.
