The Xerox Phaser 6300 Printer is capable of handling the demanding tasks of a busy office setting. Despite its compact size (18″ height x 22.8″ depth x 16.9″ width), it performs quickly but with simplified operation. There are several different features which allow room for maximizing output while keeping production costs low.

An 800-MHz PowerPC processor is fast enough for the machine to take less than 12 seconds to dish out the first page. 2400 dots per inch of resolution provides colored and black and white printouts with clear details and true-to-life colors. To help with enhanced color rendering, Xerox has included the Automatic Color Correction technology. This enables the machine to decide on the best printing method to use on different page elements, such as text, graphics or photos.

Compatible media sizes include 8.5″ x 11″ (letter A), 8.5″ x 14″ (legal), 7.25″ x 10.5″ (executive), 8.25″ x 11.7″ (A4), 5.83″ x 8.25″ (A5), 8.5″ x 13″ (folio) and 5.5″ x 8.5″ (statement). Up to a maximum size of 8.66″ x 35.4″ is supported, for printing banners. There are multiple media types which can be worked on. Some of them include plain paper, glossy paper, transparencies, labels, card stocks, and envelopes.

Enabling you to meet productivity needs is the room for attaching up to 5 media trays, turning the paper capacity to a maximum of 2300 sheets. Likewise, there’s an automatic 2-sided page printing, thanks to a duplexer unit. Such saves you from the need to re-feed the paper when printing on the backside. And with the Job Pipelining feature, the 6300 can process multiple tasks required from it all at once.

This Xerox offering carries with it some other innovative features that help enhance productivity. For instance, there’s the Run Black feature that switches to monochrome printing should the color cartridges get depleted of toners. Watermark feature allows you to include texts such as “draft” or “confidential” in the background of the document. Then there’s also the Secure Print feature, which requires password entry prior to printing confidential matters.

Without compromising performance, the 6300 can be easily installed. The One-Touch Installer feature enables you to install the printer in under 3 minutes, by simply pressing a button. Attaching the printer to a computer or network in the office is easy too. This, thanks to the two connectivity options available: a high speed USB 2.0 dock and an Ethernet 10/100 Base-T/Base-TX RJ-45 connection.

Keeping printing costs low without compromising quality output is a smart move these days. Good thing this machine comes rated with a 120000-impression per month duty cycle. In addition, there’s a Toner-Saving mode that allows you to save on toner when working on draft documents only. PhaserSMART lets you troubleshoot the unit through online means, thus saving you from having to resort to hiring technicians each and every time.

There’s also the CentreWare IS embedded, to help you manage and configure the printer from any computer linked to the network. The Xerox Phaser 6300 Printer with Xerox Phaser toner can be installed easily so the office can take advantage of its features right away. Operation is also trouble-free, yet allows for achieving professional-looking results each time. The features Xerox has added help make this machine keep up with your productivity requirements.
